On 09-10-08 at 7:37pm our little blessing Mye was born.
12 hours of labor
52 minutes of pushing
Birth weight 9lb 9.8oz
Length 22in
Head 15in
Chest 14in
Mye is just perfect! I am doing ok too. We praise Jesus that I was given strength to push through the hip pain. After the first push I honestly did not think it would be possible to get her out. My hips hurt so much! They kept popping and catching. God is faithful. I kept praying, Mason quoted scripture, and amazingly we got her out! Her straight, long dark blond hair surprized us. It will be interesting to see what it will do.

Yikes!
Well, we had a non-stress test today, and Mye is doing fine. We also had an ultrasound to determine amniotic fluid levels. The levels are low. So... our midwife encouraged us to induce. If Mye does not come on her own tonight or tomorrow, we will be induced Tuesday night(9-9). We are going in around 8pm. Please pray that we do not have another 36 hour labor. Please pray that Mye will be fine, that labor and delivery will be good, and that Sey will not be terribly confused when she has to stay at Moogie and Gumpy's house a couple nights.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Everything was fine with the non-stress test today. Mye was a wiggle worm. If we make it to Monday, we have another non-stress test, an ultrasound to check amniotic fluid levels, and an appointment with our midwife. I have felt pretty good today. Stuff for the hospital has been packed for awhile, but kind of thrown all over the car so today I organized the car and hooked up Mye's car seat. It is cool seeing two seats back there.

Well, today is DUE DAY. Mye is happy to stay in me for the time being. :-) We saw our midwife today. Stuff is slowly progressing. On Thursday we have a Non-stress test scheduled. If we make it to next week, we will probably have another ultrasound. Please pray Mye comes soon so that we do not have to have an induction. Our midwife thinks she is pretty big.
