Mye is now sitting!

She also loves to make noise when you pat your hand on her mouth. :)

Pictures we took yesterday. I had to take a few more pictures of Mye in the outfit she wore home from the hospital before she was way too big for it. She is growing up. Sniff. Sniff. Happy but sad. Won't miss the waking up every 3 hours. O, wait a minute-- we still do that!

Happy Birthday, Poppy!

Today I told Selah, "You're beautiful!"
She responded, "You're buffalo!"
Makes me feel pretty. ;}

Sey and I were counting our goldfish this morning.
She said, "I eat fish."
I said, "No, these fish are your pets."
She thought a minute then said, "I squish them."
"No." Says I.
"Ooooh, I hug them!" Silly, huggy girl.

I have been struggling with anger and yelling at my kids.

I could come up with excuses, but they do not matter.

Reminder to self --

Pray continually. Die to self. Let Jesus rule. Imitate Him.
Be sacrificial. Love.

Life will be much more peaceful!

Eph 5:1-2 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Sittin like a big girl in a chair!

Coloring at her little desk. Poor little red eyes.

Sey had no further seizures. It was just a precursor to the cold/flu bug. She had 101 temps for a couple nights and today has not had any more fever. Just a stinkin cough, runny nose, and hoarse voice. Some funny things: When I would say something to the effect of "I am sorry you are sick," every time Sey would say, "No, I am wide awake."
When we ask her to say the alphabet, she says abcdefgqrstuvwxyz. She lost the whole middle somewhere!
Mye can now sit in Sey's high chair without us holding her up. She has the bug now. I am so thankful that it seems to be a milder form. Thank the Lord for breastfeeding antibodies.
